What you bring
You bring a Master’s degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, with 5–9 years of UX design experience and strong experience designing enterprise or SaaS products. You have proven experience handling complex workflows and operational systems, with the ability to independently lead end-to-end design for complex features, workflows, and product areas. You bring deep skills in systems thinking, interaction design, information architecture, workflow optimization, scalable UX patterns, and visual communication. You can plan and use research methods such as discovery interviews, usability validation, mixed-method synthesis, and evidence-based recommendation framing to guide design decisions. You communicate tradeoffs clearly, influence stakeholders through evidence, and mentor less experienced designers. You are comfortable designing AI-assisted workflows, copilots, recommendations, RAG/LLM interfaces, and human-in-the-loop enterprise experiences.
What you'll build
In this role, you'll own design outcomes for assigned product areas, including complex enterprise workflows, scalable interaction patterns, information architecture, prototypes, and implementation guidance. You'll translate research findings, business goals, product requirements, and technical constraints into clear design strategies and actionable artifacts. You'll define validation approaches and success criteria for usability, task completion, clarity, usefulness, accessibility, AI output quality, trust, and explainability. Your work will directly influence product direction by simplifying complex systems and helping teams make confident decisions from user evidence. You'll design AI-enabled experiences such as copilots, RAG workflows, guided recommendations, and human-in-the-loop interactions. You'll also mentor T1/T2 designers through critique, coaching, research synthesis, stakeholder communication, and documentation practices.
Where you belong
You'll join an international UX team within SAP Customer Experience, working on cloud-native back-office solutions for Consumer Industry customers, including Retail and CPG companies. You'll partner daily with colleagues across Asia, EMEA, and the US, acting as the primary design owner for assigned product areas. You'll work on AI design opportunities ranging from embedded AI experiences to the latest agentic design patterns. SAP-sponsored learning hours and resources support continued growth as you influence product direction through evidence, cross-regional collaboration, and strong enterprise design practice on complex business workflows.
